i've been feeling Slugabed since i heard the Ol' Dirty Bastard & Rick James remix 12" he did for Stuff Records. i stumbled upon some links to a couple free download projects (i think...?) a bit after that and was really blown away. i also heard a test pressing of BD1982's 12" with a Slugabed remix on it. i didn't know what that shit was until it officially dropped, as it was a white label with black magic marker! i picked it up because it said Seclusiasis on it and was blown away by Slugabed's mix. his junk is just RAW. so, when i saw he was doing an EP for Planet Mu entitled Ultra Heat Treated, i knew i had to have it. i didn't even listen to it first, which is something i never do. i brought it home and got exactly what i expected. this cat is brilliant.
