the homey Plot-twist put me up on the Fantastic Mr. Fox. because i loved the book of his namesake as a kid and rushed to see the recently released movie, i wanted to hear this dude's music just off the strength of his name. his stuff is heavy, not cartoonish, as his name may imply!i've been picking up Black Acre releases since i heard Akira Kiteshi's "Jeremy Kyle" 7". they put out some heavy, quirky, forward thinking electronic music. i check for their stuff regularly, so i scooped the one copy we had at Gramaphone (sorry, Chicago. we can get more!). this is a double 10" EP, also available for digital download! check out his other stuff on 2nd Drop and Hemlock labels!
